چکیده

Flightpath 2050, the European Commission's vision for aviation, requires that aviation industry achieves a 75 % reduction in CO2 emissions per passenger mile and airports become emission-free by 2050. Airport shuttle buses airfields are going to be electrified reduce ground emissions. Simultaneously, airfield movement space time schedules becoming more limited adopting stationary charging facilities vehicles. Therefore, dynamic wireless technology becomes promising help improve stability of electrification transport network. This paper proposes techno-economic assessment charging, wired conventional technologies electrifying airport buses. A bi-level planning optimisation approach combines multi-objective Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm (NSGA-III) mixed integer linear programming (MILP) algorithm handle large number decision variables constraints generated from investigated problem. The bus is simulated through multi-agent-based model (MABM) approach. Four case studies analysed illustrating feasibility electric results show enables carry smaller batteries while conducting same as tasks diesel/petrol vehicles bi-directional could mitigate impact on distribution

What is the future of public charging infrastructure for electric vehicles? – A techno-economic assessment of public charging points for Germany

Electric vehicles are able to reduce local and global emissions from the transport sector and thereby could help to slow down global warming if they achieved significant market shares. As all other vehicles, they need a charging or refuelling infrastructure to be built up simultaneously to vehicle market penetration. With the current disability to store energy for long distance trips in batteri...

Techno-Economic Assessment of Different Inlet Air Cooling Systems in Warm Dry & Wet Climate Stations

Performance of a gas turbine mainly depends on the inlet air temperature. The power output of a gas turbine depends on the flow of mass through it. This is precisely the reason why on hot days, when air is less dense, power output falls. The objective here is to assess the advanced systems applied in reducing the gas turbine intake air temperature and examine the merits from integration of the ...

Techno-economic assessment of regional biomass use

An approach for techno-economic optimisation and for the analysis of industrial biomass use is proposed in this paper. The ARGUS model (German acronym for: allocation module for a computer-aided generation of environmental strategies for emissions), based on linear programming, has been implemented as one of the few models that investigates VOC emissions from approximately 40 industrial sectors...

Robust planning of airport platform buses

Most airports have two types of gates: gates with an air bridge to the terminal and remote stands. For flights at a remote stand, passengers are transported to and from the aircraft by platform buses. In this paper we investigate the problem of planning platform buses as it appears at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. We focus on robust planning, i.e., we want to avoid that the bus planning is affect...
